Hours: 37.5 per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working


The reception desk is the first point of call for all patients and visitors to the department and the receptionist provides a combination of customer services and general administration.


This involves a whole range of tasks covering: receiving and booking in patients; including registering new patients on to the hospital CRS system, printing identification labels, scanning request cards, and electronically allocating and distributing reporting. You will be liaising with the general public and staff at all levels and helping with any queries they may have.

  • The imaging department provides a number of services across a range of locations within the hospital. Services range from simple radiography to complex procedures such as CT or interventional procedures for both inpatients and outpatients.
  • The reception desk is the first point of call for all patients and visitors to the department and the receptionist provides a combination of customer services and general administration.

Assisting with reception duties including covering main Imaging and Fracture clinic reception desks.

You will be liaising with the general public and staff at all levels and helping with any queries they may have.

Give clerical support to the appointment co-ordinators and PAC's officers


This will include general office duties such as filing, answering the phone, sending of faxes and opening and distributing the post.

Enveloping and send out appointment letters and patient information and printing off and sending out DNA letters to patients and referrers.

Generally assisting the appointments and secretarial staff as required.
