Operations Controller
Abbot Fire Group Ltd is a multi-award-winning Fire Protection Company operating throughout the United Kingdom.
We are looking for someone who is confident, good at multitasking, problem solving and be able to be flexible in your thinking.
You will need to be good at working under pressure as this job role is fast moving, demanding and varied as it covers all areas of the company's operations.
The individual will need to have good people and communication skills and be able to work with a variety of different people.
This role is to assist in the main day to day running of the Operations department who schedule and administer the work of our technicians.
Main duties include but are not limited to:
- Generating monthly workload of service jobs from the system and booking the work into the technician's calendars.
- Ensure all jobs meet financial target requirements in accordance with the companies plan and deliver them on time. To budget and specification.
- Reviewing new work and remedial work and planning this into the diary alongside the service work.
- Review calendars to ensure the best use of resource.
- Raise and allocate jobs to technicians PDA's from the company CRM System.
- Order any job specific parts and receive these into the warehouse in time for the scheduled work.
- Liaise with customers and technicians to resolve any day to day operational problems.
- Manage various aspects of Health and Safety, such as ensuring technicians have the correct PPE etc.
- Actively comply with and promote all working policies and procedures.
- Be responsible for ensuring company vehicles are up to date with servicing, MOT's and kept in good working condition.
- Review completed jobs on a daily basis ensuring they have been updated correctly and ensuring they are ready for invoicing.
- Ensure stock levels within the warehouse are maintained ready for technicians to be able to restock when required.
General Administration
To assist with day to day office services and administration.
This will include but is not limited to:
- Management of filing and database systems and implementation of new systems as considered appropriate
- Assist in managing stock control and ordering of stock, supplies and stationery.
- Ensure that the warehouse and office spaces are well maintained.
- To deal with customers using a variety of communication methods.

Salary:
£25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
