Description

Due to year on year growth, my client is looking to recruit an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their team.

Working within a fast paced envirornment, you will be part of the successful IT Service Delivery team.


You will need to be able to work fast and determine if issues can be resolved internally or need to be escalated to 3rd parties.

You will be responsible for ensuring users are kept updated and deliver a high level of support and customer service.


Roles and Responsibilities include:

Work in a team to resolve incidents and requests within a given SLA.
Liaise with 3rd party suppliers to ensure issues and incidents are resolved and manage relationships.
Troubleshoot software and hardware issues (1st, 2nd and 3rd line where necessary).
Manage customer storage and support UC engineers.
Work to meet deadlines in an environment where priorities can change quickly
Discuss and explain issues with users in a non-technical way where required, to gather the right information to progress their issue


Skills and Experience required:

Minium 2-3 years experience in a 1st and 2nd Line Support role.
Office 365
Active Directory
Knowledge of Windows Servers and Windows OS
Experience using/supporting IT Hardware, e.g. Servers, Desktops, Laptops, Printers
Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Switching/Routing)

This a permanent position and the working hours are 37.5 per week Monday-Friday.
