EVENING/ NIGHT SHIFT

JOB TITLE:
Warehouse Operative/ Link Van Driver

REPORTS TO:
Branch Manager

JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY

To carry out warehouse and link van driver/ logistics functions as determined by line manager along with driving duties as and when required. All work should be completed in a manner which is in keeping with company professional standards.

KEY SKILLS, RESPONSIBILITES & OBJECTIVES
-
Receiving goods and accurately entering them onto the computer system
-
Correctly storing received goods
-
Replenishing, picking, loading and despatching goods to meet deadlines
-
Notify suppliers of short deliveries or damages
-
General housekeeping duties to ensure the warehouse is kept tidy and easily accessible
-
Report any health and safety risks to the systems manager
-
Ability to follow processes and procedures accurately
-
Daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is safe and roadworthy
-
Supervise the loading and unloading of your vehicle
-
Ensure you adhere to driving laws at all times
-
Ensure all documentation is correctly completed and signed at all deliveries
-
Any other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

A Fork Lift Truck licence is desirable

Full UK Driving Licence
