We are seeking motivated individuals for the following position:

NRSWA Supervisor/Inspector

As NRSWA Supervisor/Inspector, you will be responsible for carrying out pre-site surveys for carriageway defects, building a schedule of works/repairs to be carried out, completing pre-construction information and traffic management assessments, and managing a number of patching gangs to carry out the repairs.

You will work closely with the planning manager regarding road space permits, programming and recording completed works.


Key Responsibilities:

Create electronic jobs packs per given road names
:

- _Record and mark up known defects._
- _Complete pre-construction information._
- _Complete traffic management assessment._
- _Keep personal record of jobs created and status._

Work closely with planning manager to programme and permit created jobs
:

Supervise patching gangs based on programmed works
:

- _Manage labour, plant, materials and TM gangs._
- _Ensure jobs are being closed out and correct information is being captured._
- _Ensure Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental standards are being met._
- _Carry out audits and tool box talks._

Work closely with contracts manager regarding KPI's
:

- _Produce weekly output report based on daily records._
- _Complete weekly labour, plant, materials and subcontractor allocation sheet._


Job Requirements:

• Valid CSCS Card Required
• SWQR Qualification Required (Supervisor's qualification preferred)
• UK Driving Licence Required
• Must be Computer Literate (Outlook, Word, Excel etc)
• Highway Maintenance / Street Works Experience Required
• Emergency First Aid Training Desirable
• Cat and Genny Training Desirable
• Work Van Provided_

Job Types:

Full-time, Permanent, Freelance


Salary:

Up to £200.00 per day


Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Basildon, SS16 5LA: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Highway Maintenance: 3 years (required)


Licence/Certification:

• CSCS (required)
• Driving Licence (required)
