Job description:


Our client, a women's charity in West London, is looking for a Social Care IDVA to join their team on a 2 month contract, with rates negotiable on experience and 2 days home working per week.


DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:


  • Working closely with Social Services to support women who have had Children's Social Care intervention due to domestic violence
  • Providing crisis intervention support either facetoface or over the phone providing advice on housing, health, safety and children's legislation advice
  • Carrying out risk assessments and support plans
  • Advising women on their rights and options for benefits including external support groups
  • Multiagency partnership working and regularly attending MARAC meetings
