Robertson Bell are pleased to be supporting a vibrant Charity, based in Cambridgeshire, to recruit an interim Head of Finance on a 12-month contract.

This role will oversee a small team and the organisations day to day finances while also providing support to the Senior Leadership Team and Non-Executives.

The Head of Finance's specific responsibilities will include:

Leading on the year end process, co-ordinating the preparation of the statutory accounts, with the support of the team, and acting as the main point of contact for auditors.
Ensuring the monthly accounts and supporting financial information is produced in an accurate and timely fashion.
Working closely with budget holders to set annual budgets, and provide close support throughout the year to aid decision making and effectively manage the organisations finances.
Contributing to the improvement of systems and processes, following a recent implementation, to streamline reporting and increase the level of insight.
Possess wellrounded finance experience, covering financial accounts, management and operations, and be comfortable operating at the 'Head of' level.
Have led on year end processes and prepared statutory accounts to Charity SORP/FRS10
Be receptive to change and strive to improve systems and processes, where possible.
Consistently build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders and be able to lead small teams, motivating and developing staff.
