Is the safety of children and families on their way to and from school important to you? Do you like being outdoors (in all weathers) and being a positive and responsible member of your local community? If you can answer YES to all of the above then Lincolnshire County Council would like to hear from you.


We are looking for a reliable, sensible and community minded individual to join the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership Team as a Lollipop Person on -
Station Road, Branston.



This is a part time role working 5 hours a week during term time only; however the importance of the role is immeasurable.**Working
30 minutes
at the beginning and 30 minutes** at the end of the school day you will have the opportunity to become a true part of the community and ensure the safety of children and families on the county roads.

You will join a large team of dedicated individuals across the county.


We are keen to hear from those members of the community with good traffic awareness, a sense of responsibility and who are committed to carrying out this very important role.


As you will be working a short split shift throughout the day, it is recommended that you live within a short distance of the site.

You will be paid a rate of £10.98 per hour, plus have access to LCC's extensive benefits package. Further details can be found in our
rewards and benefits brochure.**You will be working predominantly on your own on the highway and in all weathers; full training and uniform will be provided.


This position will require an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
