Due to continued requirements across the Health Care sector Randstad are keen to recruit experienced Secretaries / Administrative Officers to support management teams in the efficient delivery of services across specialist directorates.

The successful applicant will be expected to carry out a wide range of secretarial /administrative tasks including word processing/audio typing, minute taking, call handling and use of computer packages & programmes within a fast paced, patient focused environment.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 12 months relevant Secretarial or Clerical experience essential
  • Knowledge of the Health service highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills
  • IT proficiency
  • Accurate data entry skills and attention to detail
  • Efficient organisational & time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced patient focused environments

Responsibilities:


  • Sorting and responding to mail as appropriate
  • Dealing with general enquiries
  • Telephone and reception duties
  • Maintaining diaries
  • Minute taking & Note taking
  • Arranging meetings
  • Word processing/audio typing letters/producing reports
  • Preparation of statistical information
  • Dealing with requests for information
  • Making appointments
  • Filing
  • Dealing with telephone calls
  • Photocopying/scanning
