Our client, a software house specialising in the development of corporate intranet software, desk booking solutions and digital employee experience solutions, are looking to expand the team by recruiting a talented
Senior Software Developer.
You will be working as part of the product team on both new and existing functionality, with a focus on quality and usability.
They are well established in the intranet market and have over 20 years of rich history and experience,have a close-knit team of passionate staff who are largely hybrid workers.
Key responsibilities:
- Work as part of a closeknit team of developers, designers, and testers
- Understand the requirements of business and user community
- Work with the team to plan development and deliver new features, working from interactive prototypes, user flows, and highlevel feature requirements
- Own the overall architecture, ensuring it remains futureproof, scalable, and extendable
- Work with the Product Owner and Test Manager to ensure that they are making effective and costefficient use of appropriate Azure services where applicable
- Communicate key architectural decisions and reasonings with the rest of the product team and the Product Owner
- Provide mentorship to your junior product team colleagues
Technical skills and Experience:
- Azure DevOps (Sprint planning, Version control, Deployment)
- C#
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Windows Server and IIS
- Experience developing "
On premise" software solutions, with an awareness of challenges posed by maintenance and upgrades - Familiarity with "legacy" Microsoft web development software stacks, such as.
They need someone who has strong attention to detail combined with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work equally well as part of a team or on their own initiative.
You will have strong verbal and written communication skills with the abilityto liaise with a variety of stakeholders at all levels of the business.
