Scope
Due to continued growth within the business, Brooksby are now looking for additional staff to meet our client and market demands within the prefabricated balcony sector.
Duties
- Assembling balconies to a high standard
- Using hand tools in a safe manner
- Using power tools in a safe manner
- General labouring duties to assist skilled operatives
- General housekeeping to a high standard
- Using the overhead crane to move products around (once trained)
- Assisting in the goods in and out process
- Production of cast in parts and stubs
- Production of balcony arms
- Ability to understand basic technical drawings
- Hand and power tool experience
- Assembly experience
- Overhead crane (advantageous)
- Forklift truck experience (advantageous)
- Modular building experience or similar
- Excellent timekeeper
- Excellent attendance record
- Team player and the ability to work unsupervised
- Motivated to learn and do well
- Good standard of English reading and writing
- Good standard of maths
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
£10.50-£12.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Overtime
Experience:
- Assembly: 1 year (preferred)
- Power tools: 1 year (preferred)
- Hand tools: 1 year (preferred)
