Description

A Station Support Officer is required for a permanent Opportunity role paying £24,391.58 per annum, plus £2,835.11 London Allowance per annum with the British Transport Police (BTP) based in our London Bridge Location.

BTP is the national police Force for the rail network throughout Great Britain, including London Underground, across which we ensure the safety and security of nearly 3 billion passenger journeys and over 100 million tons of freight every year.

As a Station Support Officer with BTP you will provide comprehensive administrative support and work in conjunction with the Officer In Charge (OIC).

You will be involved in a range of duties required to support the station and organisational needs.

As Station Support Officer you will be required to:

To deliver in line with the Corporate Assurance guidance and provide support to the Officer In Charge to complete the governance return.
Provides a seamless service to internal stakeholders assisting with station engagement and collating information as necessary.
Ensure that information is stored, accessed and shared in line with Information Management policy.
Monitor Station supplies, placing orders and monitor progress of orders and purchases
Coordinate vehicle repairs, maintenance and carry out monthly vehicle mileage and logbook checks.
Carry out regular building checks and report to the facilities management provider, escalating when necessary.
Carry out Health and Safety checks in line with guidance

The successful Station Support Officer will be required to evidence the following:

Excellent standard of planning and organisational ability
Ability to remain calm whilst working under pressure, dealing with members of the public or to demanding deadlines, whilst maintaining a flexible approach
Previous administrative experience with demonstrable organisational ability and attention to detai
Up to £24,391.58 plus £2,835.11 London allowance per annum
