Product Owner wanted for a special project in Passenger Rail - to drive the end-to-end Retailing Service product roadmap

THE COMPANY:
A national travel operator based in stunning modern offices in the City. Aside from the basic salary there are very generous travel concessions and benefits.

THE ROLE:

The role will take responsibility for the end-to-end service, identifying improvements across all areas of the various journeys from a customer's point of view - identifying user needs and business value and then working with the cross-functional Retailing team and the supplier network to develop and deliver the roadmap.

The Product Owner will ensure that the deliverables of the improvements programme align with business needs to drive customer satisfaction.

The role will help drive the successful delivery of improvements by defining requirements in consultation with colleagues, backlog management / prioritisation and representing the customer through the end-to-end journey.


YOU:
Requirements for this role are very specific: Preference is for a background in the Travel & Leisure sectors
Demonstrable experience of working in a modern agile Product Manager role and managing a consumer product / service from end-to-end, improving sales and customer satisfaction
Experience developing a deep understanding of customer needs and translating into clear product requirements
Experience working on a product that utilises an integrated solution and enterprise platforms
Experience developing and prioritising a product backlog and driving delivery of the product roadmap
Data-driven and performance mindset - ability to analyse data, form hypotheses, and decide what to do next
Customer first approach balanced with commercial acumen
