The main duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the credit control process from start to finish to ensure timely payments from clients
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients, both new and long standing.
  • Liaise with fee earners and support staff on accounts and any issues
  • Liaise with our debt recovery team in managing debts that have been passed down a formal debt collection route.
  • Negotiate payment plans with clients where appropriate
  • Devise and maintain accurate metrics on outstanding debt
  • Produce weekly reports of outstanding debt with accurate commentary
  • Adhere to internal and external policies and procedures including credit control legislation
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients alike
  • Perform ad hoc duties as given to you by the Financial Controller and Finance Director, as and when required.

Up to £28,000.00 per year
