We are looking to recruit a number of exam invigilators to join our friendly exam team.
This role will allow you to work flexibly on a casual basis helping to ensure that all exams are conducted in accordance with JCQ guidelines.
Full training will be provided on appointment.May/June.
This role will be on a casual, as and when required basis, with no fixed hours of work.

Responsible to:

Purpose of post:
To conduct all exams in accordance with the JCQ guidelines.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain the security of exam papers at all times and ensure that the conduct of the exam takes place within the guidelines set down by the JCQ.
- Collect question papers, attendance registers and all other necessary materials before an exam.
- Check the exam room is set up in accordance with JCQ regulations.
- Accurately complete attendance registers
- Be vigilant at all times during an exam and record any incidents that occur.
- Collect and collate completed scripts at the end of the exam and return them to the Exams Office.

- Enhanced Disclosure clearance (including barred list check), following a conditional offer of appointment
- Provision of two references which are deemed as satisfactory to the Headmaster
- The ability to meet the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and students
- Flexibility
Desirable
- English and Maths at GCSE or above
- Experience of exam invigilation
- Knowledge of customer care
- Knowledge of the further education sector
