We are looking to recruit a number of exam invigilators to join our friendly exam team.

This role will allow you to work flexibly on a casual basis helping to ensure that all exams are conducted in accordance with JCQ guidelines.

Full training will be provided on appointment.

May/June.

This role will be on a casual, as and when required basis, with no fixed hours of work.

Invigilator Job Description

Post Title:
Exam Invigilator

Responsible to:
Examinations Officer

Purpose of post:
To conduct all exams in accordance with the JCQ guidelines.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain the security of exam papers at all times and ensure that the conduct of the exam takes place within the guidelines set down by the JCQ.
Collect question papers, attendance registers and all other necessary materials before an exam.
Check the exam room is set up in accordance with JCQ regulations.
Accurately complete attendance registers
Be vigilant at all times during an exam and record any incidents that occur.
Collect and collate completed scripts at the end of the exam and return them to the Exams Office.

Provision of two references which are deemed as satisfactory to the Headmaster
The ability to meet the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and students
