Children's Outdoor Sport Instructor

  • This position has two main roles: Firstly, to aid with our main activity of teaching children how to ride a motorbike (however the applicant does not need to have any experience with riding motorcycles or need a licence). Secondly (actually this is firstly), to make sure our customers have the best time ever


The key element to this role is the ability to work well with children, engage with them and be able to provide a friendly environment for them.

The actual skills required to ride, and teach the children how to ride, will be taught as part of the induction process.

The core hours will be weekends and selected weekdays during the school holidays.

Although we are obviously bias, this role can be extremely fun and rewarding.

It can be really hard at times, dealing with adverse weather conditions is tough, but it is great in the Summer.

It's very physical and involves doing a lot of miles (good for the step count though).

There will be vast opportunity to gain experience, expand your own knowledge and also have freedom to express your own ideas.


We are looking for someone who:

  • Is able to drive to our site at Weston Park (TF11 8LE).
Some activities this role will be responsible for are:

  • Communicating with parents/carers regarding the children's individual needs.
  • Bike cleaning/maintenance (no experience required).
  • Preparing equipment for sessions (helmets etc).
  • Track maintenance (general grounds keeping).

Requirements:


  • Full UK Driving Licence (or able to get to job location with no public transport), Able to communicate well with Children and Adults, Pass DBS check prior to starting (this will be arranged), Able to communicate well with Children and Adults.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Freelance, Zero hours contract


Pay:
£10.00-£15.00 per hour
