LEVEL 2 Tor 3 TEACHING ASSISTANTS / COACHES OR COACHES REQUIRED
We offer outstanding camps to keep children entertained in the school holidays. Kids simply love our camps because of the variety on offer, including over 40 different activities throughout the week

You will be placed at a specialist provision for children and young people with Autism and/or Social Communication Difficulties, all the students have Education, Health and Care Plans as their needs are long term.


The role of A SEND Activity Instructor is to ensure the welfare and safety of the children with special needs on camp is maintained at all times, and to deliver outstanding, structured and fun sessions.


Requirements:

Ideally qualified or have experience in working with children with SEND in sport, art, childcare or teaching, with significant experience of working with children (Although this is not essential).


Key requirements
Good knowledge and experience of SEND. Excellent communicator, with confident face to face customer service skills. Good working knowledge of camp activities. Good decision maker, able to quickly assess and make informed judgements. Pro-active and conscientious, able to adapt to situations when required.


Dates:

Week 1:

April 3rd to 6th


Week 2:

April 11th to 14th


Working hours:
between 4 and 5 hours per day (11am-2pm)


Pay:
£13.00 per hour

Stoke Leys Close, Stoke Mandeville HP21 9ET


Note that there may also be opportunities to work in Aylesbury, Milton Keynes, Bucks, Northampton, Herts during the same holiday period.

COVID-19 considerations:
We will be adhering to protocol relating to DFE regulations at the time camp starts. This is likely to include regular hand satitising, ventilation and washing of hands.
