One of Cambridge's most prestigious family owned businesses is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Early Careers Manager to join their team in this newly created role.

As an Early Careers Manager managing a team of two Early Careers Specialists, you will be responsible for managing their early career programs and initiatives, including graduate recruitment, apprenticeships, internships, and other training programs.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement the early career strategy, in collaboration with senior leadership
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process for our graduate, apprentice, and intern programs
  • Design and deliver training and development programs for our early career talent
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our early career programs, and continuously improve them
  • Build relationships with universities, schools, and other relevant organisations to promote our early career opportunities
  • Act as a mentor and coach to our early career talent, supporting their development and progression within the company
  • Work closely with marketing, HR and other internal teams on all early careers initiatives and projects
  • Experience developing a strategy and then managing a busy events schedule for outreach activity

Requirements:


  • Ideally Degree educated
  • Proven experience in early career program management, preferably in the Engineering sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A passion for developing early career talent and supporting their career progression


You will be required to work in the offices 3 days per week and they are flexible as to how you take these.
