    Description

    Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Fixing machine faults occurring as part of the normal shift activity.
    • Responding quickly to line breakdowns affecting production and liaising with the Shift Manager.
    • Carrying out preventative maintenance activities and routine safety inspections.
    • Fault finding and diagnostics in reactive breakdown or planned situations.
    • Planned preventative maintenance on a variety of production machinery.
    • Ensuring all breakdowns are dealt with promptly and efficiently while maintaining PPM schedules.
    • Supporting project development.
    • Following and encouraging stringent HSE and standard company practices.
    • Working closely with operations teams to provide proactive support to the plant and equipment, maximising production output.
    • Practicing continuous improvement and pro-activeness for improved ways of working, offering possible solutions.
    • Performing maintenance tasks as part of planned maintenance or as directed by the Engineering Manager.

    Requirements:

    • Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Engineering Experience.
    • Engineering Qualifications, including any Electrical Qualification.
    • Fault Finding Ability.
    • Knowledge of CMMS processes.
    • Demonstrating ability to work alone or as part of a small team.
    • Experience of performing Maintenance Engineering within an Industrial Manufacturing Environment.
