Here at Sundean Veterinary Group we are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. The day will be a balance between consulting and operating on routine and rarely more urgent cases.
You will have responsibility for taking care of each patient with the full support of a trained and experienced nursing colleague.
The rota would include working 2 days per week, 10 hours per day from 9:00am-7:00pm. The Sunday morning rota is 1 in 4. All emergency out-of-hours is taken care of by a local out-of-hours hospital.The salary will be up to £30,000 + up to £5,000 relocation allowance
About Us
Hartpury is a purpose-built, spacious modern facility, where everyone loves to work in.
We have ultrasound, x-ray - including dental x-ray - dentistry and a separate operating theatre, separate cat/dog kennels and isolation facilities.
We have a large reception area which is subdivided to allow cats and dogs to remain separate. There is a lab for running in-house bloods and urine, plus examining slides for cytology. We have a qualified hydrotherapist on site.
We are a three-site clinic with a total of 7 Veterinary Surgeons, 7 Registered Veterinary Nurses, and a supportive Reception Team.
