Talan UK is expanding its team we are looking for a
Business Analyst

The analyst will be joining an inflight FX and PM (Precious Metals) eMarket project to implement and integrate a new platform.

The project will provide the analyst with opportunities to work closely with the Vendor, Global Markets and various support functions, in delivering a platform that will provide a wider product offering to our customers, increase STP and generate revenue growth for the FX and PM eMarkets business.

Assists the Project Manager throughout the project delivery on analysis and problem solving activities from a business, functional and technical perspective.
Coordinating between business groups and IT as necessary.
Provide full analyst support for all stages of the project life cycle.
Problem solving and owning an issue through to resolution.
Gathers business requirements and documenting the requirements to a standard that can be understood by the wider project team and organization.
Work closely with technical developers in the change the bank to ensure the requirements are interpreted correctly.
Work closely with Business and IT developers and bridge the gap by taking business requirements and converting it to IT requirements
Manage business engagements on new requirements and assist requirements prioritization.
Work closely with other teams to ensure the project does not run into obstacles at the latter stages of the delivery.

A degree in Information System / BSc Comp Science
Business knowledge of global markets (CV should show periods of business analyst experience on the business side, ideally with FX and Precious Metals exposure) and be comfortable speaking with business facing counterparts.
Technically fluent (CV should have a proven track record of system analyst experience) and able to converse efficiently with technical members of staff.
Experience in front office and back office projects in a change role.
Knowledge and experience within a Corporate and Investment Bank ideally with exposure to
FX and PM pre and post trade

- eTrading

Strong track record of business analysis experience and able to use various analysis methods to suit the situation
Good understanding of development life cycles including Agile
Data analysis experience and comfortable working with relational data, collections, SQL and Rest API
