Registering with Reed Education will give you the chance to work within a range of schools, teaching a variety of age ranges and abilities throughout Reading, West Berkshire and Wokingham.

Working as a Cover Teacher can offer you the flexibility you needif you have family or other commitments in your life.

It will offer you the chance to develop skills if you are an ECT/NQT to help you find what you are looking for in a permanent post.

We can work with you to find you the role you are looking for

The Role:

Supply Teaching supporting students across KS3, KS4 and KS
Working throughout schools in Reading, West Berkshire and Wokingham
Work one day per week or longerterm

Start anytime

- where you are looking to start ASAP or have other commitments, we can find a role for you

What we need from you:

QTS is desirable but not necessary, as long as you have some experience in an educational setting that has required you to support groups of 20 students or more we can find a role for you
Being a driver is desirable but not essential. We support schools across a wide area so will work with you to find work at local schools to make your morning journey as easy as we can
Be available for a brief interview to start in January 202
Be able to build rapport with schools, students and parents if needed
Be flexible and versatile in your teaching, you will be required to quickly adapt to new schools and environments on the day
