An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Experienced Dental Therapist/Hygienist at the Old Orchard Dental Practice, Bonnyrigg. Situated on the High Street the practice is easily commutable from Edinburgh and the Lothians.

The role is a self-employed position, 2 days per week with some flexibility across Tues-Thurs.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established independent, family focused practice. Our philosophy is to provide high quality, pain free dental treatments to support the lifelong health of our patients. The practice is currently in a period of expansion, with predominantly private patients.

We provide a wide range of general and restorative dental care services to patients of all ages and with this in mind, we seek an experienced, caring and enthusiastic Dental Therapist/Hygienist with a minimum of 1 years' experience.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventative hygiene and periodontal treatments.
• Provide highquality routine general restorations for adults and children.
• Work collaboratively with our team to ensure excellent patient care.
• Manage patient appointments and maintain accurate patient records.
• Continuously professional development to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Requirements:

• Available to start in May (but phased introduction can be considered).
• Qualified with a minimum of 1 years' experience and registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).
• Friendly, caring, and enthusiastic manner with excellent communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Full Dental Nurse support available.
• Proficient in using computerised dental software (SOE).
• Indemnity Insurance must be current.
• Evidence of relevant health clearance certification.
• Part time opportunity 2 days per week available ideally across Tues-Thurs 9.00am5.00pm.
