Teaching Assistant SEN:


  • Location: Shrewsbury
  • Duration: Fulltime and some parttime posts available ASAP
  • Salary: £70£90 per day


Due to a high demand of Teaching Assistants needed in a SEN school in Shrewsbury, Balfor Education are looking for motivated, passionate, and pro-active people who want the opportunity to work in a school environment.

You're looking for a new opportunity with good hours and pay

Have a passion and some experience (professional or personal) working with special needs such as ASD, ADHD, down syndrome, challenging behaviour, etc

Are an enthusiastic and bubbly individual who can be proactive


The job itself:


  • This is mainly a fulltime position (Monday
  • Friday) typically from the hours of 8:303:30
  • You will be working with students with special needs such as Autism, so some experience, even personal, would be preferable
  • You will either support a full classroom environment or will work with small groups of children
  • You will need a passion and willingness to learn
  • You will need to be able to create a strong and supportive relationship with children
  • You will have a clear enhanced child DBS on the update service or be willing to pay to have one processed through Balfor
