Secondary TAs - SE London

Are you a TA looking for work in a secondary school environment, looking for a new opportunity? Are you a graduate thinking of a career in teaching? Retired Teacher looking for flexibility.

We are currently recruiting for Secondary TA staff in the SE London area.


Roles and responsibilities:

Supporting students who may need additional assistance in the classroom
Managing behaviour in lessons

Comfortable working 1:1 with students

Enthusiasm for working with children
A caring and empathetic nature
Ability to be patient and understanding
Flexible and adaptable
Experience working with children, SEN, SEMH or other additional needs

The role would be a combination of supporting the class and 1:1 work, therefore being flexible and proactive is key.

The school's focus is to ensure that the children develop mastery and a depth of understanding through a fun and interesting school curriculum.

Their aim is to bring out the best in each individual, so that every child is given the opportunity to realise his or her potential in a safe, caring learning environment.

Relevant experience
Committed to securing high levels of progress, achievement for students
Strong interpersonal skills
Enhanced DBS on the update service
