We are delighted to be working with an East Midlands organisation who are looking to hire a Commercial Solicitor into their growing UK legal team.

This will be a varied role where you will be supporting on matters to include commercial, GDPR, complianceand litigation matters.

As a Legal Counsel, you will be working closely with the General Counsel and day to day responsibilities could include:

  • Negotiating, drafting and reviewing a variety of contracts including; SaaS, software licences, vendor, sales, infrastructure, NDAs, service agreements, consultant agreements etc.
  • Providing advice on GDPR / data privacy matters and supporting on matters which could include negotiating data processing agreement etc.
  • Supporting the team with IP matters.
  • Working closely with the Senior Stakeholders within the business and providing general commercial advice on a number of BAU matters and project work.
The organisation are flexible on PQE but are looking for someone who has experience in drafting commercial contracts.

Salary on offer is between £60k - £75k plus benefits and the organisation offer a flexible working policy with on-site presence only beingrequired 1 / 2 days per week.
