A local firm of Chartered Accountants in County Durham, situated close to Newton Aycliffe and Bishop Auckland are looking to welcome an experienced Bookkeeper to their team.
As Bookkeeper you will be supporting a portfolio of local SME and Owner Managed Businesses with their day to day and monthly bookkeeping and payroll requirements.
Working with a variety of software such as Sage, Xero and Quickbooks you will be knowledgable with these systems, able to provide guidance to your clients on how to navigate their way around them.
We are also looking for the successful Bookkeeper to look after a small portfolio of payrolls (weekly/monthly) and able to step in for payroll holiday cover when required across the year.
Working with your clients you will have the opportunity to spend time on clients site as well as work from the office.
Applicants must have bookkeeping and payroll experience, able to work independently as well as part of a team.Your organisation skills need to be strong as you will be managing multiple clients at the same time needing to work to deadlines.
