At the George Baker group, we're writing our own success story, and now we're seeking an enthusiastic Marketing Executive to join our Commercial team and be a part of our journey.

As a marketing executive, this is your chance to put your degree skills to use in a supportive role.

Get ready to dive into a range of exciting responsibilities that will contribute to our marketing efforts:


Key responsibilities:

  • Assisting with copywriting, artwork, and web workflow for print and digital marketing communication
  • Organizing events and associated campaigns
  • Executing marketing and event campaigns
  • Supporting photoshoots
  • Using Mailchimp to create and send out marketing materials
  • Updating CRM and ensuring GDPR compliance
  • Planning and implementing social media campaigns
  • Posting marketing updates through internal communication channel
  • Obtaining quotes from external agencies/suppliers for branded merchandise
  • Updating company website
  • Auditing marketing collateral and stock control
  • Diary management
  • Keeping up to date with writing for the web and social media best practices
  • Responding to inquiries on the website
  • Coordinating content for LinkedIn

Skills and experience required:

  • Marketing degree or equivalent qualification
  • Relevant marketing experience considered for nonmarketing degree holders
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
  • Attention to detail
  • Highly organized with excellent prioritization skills
  • Selfmotivated, reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking
  • Proactive approach and problemsolving skills
