Description

We are a manufacturing company, based in Nailsea, Bristol, looking for an experienced Materials Controller to join our team.

The Role

As Material Controller you will control goods inward, manage stock, carry out inventory checks etc, with responsibilities including:

Receiving/checking/recording incoming goods
Dealing with goods in
Inspecting goods/reporting/returning nonconforming products
Ensuring effective & efficient storage materials
Allocating goods to correct locations within stores
Ensure all jobs are picked accurately and in a timely manner
Updating/maintaining ERP System
Ensuring warehouse and outside areas are kept clean and tidy

The Person

As Materials Controller you will have previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing/engineering/production environment.

Knowledge of goods inward/goods outward/stock turn and control/materials management and flow is essential, combined with excellent organisational skills, the ability to work to deadlines and a logical, practical approach.

A forklift licence would be beneficial

Salary:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
