FPGA Engineer - Reading - £45,000 - £75,000 pa

A market leading start up designing leading edge Electronics technology are looking for an FPGA Engineer to join their rapidly growing R&D team.

They are open to a variety of seniorities and will offer a competitive salary based on experience and current renumerations.


Responsibilities:


  • Design, verify & test robust and scalable FPGA firmware using RTL
  • Work in a multidisciplined team of Electronics Hardware, Embedded Software Engineers, FPGA Engineers & Physicists
  • Manage projects and day to day activities to ensure deadlines are met
  • Creating & maintain design documentation & reports

Key Skills/Experience:


  • Degree (or higher) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline
  • 2+ years' experience in FPGA Design
  • Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL
  • Python

Any mix of the following is nice to have's:

  • PCB design
  • Knowledge of RF Circuits
  • DSP Algorithms
  • Knowledge/experience in Software defined radio or something similar
