Service Desk Engineer

Bath / Hybrid

Salary £25,000


An exciting opportunity for an
Service Desk Engineerto join a leading South West based company providing outstanding technical support to users throughout the company.

The Technology Support team field a range of enquiries from users whohave reoccurring problems that require longer term assistance.


Responsibilities:


  • 1st line support with some 2nd line support.
  • Ability to deal with complex tickets with troubleshooting and diagnosis of hardware and software issues.
  • Dealing with user's issues on the phone, with some facetoface, and providing a great customer experience.
  • Liaising with a variety of teams and users to find solutions.
  • Deploying software using SCCM.
  • Managing user's escalations and VIP tickets.

Skills:


  • Experience of providing user technical support in a Windows 10 IT environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Well versed with Microsoft Office 365 and components.
  • Good understanding of Operating Systems, Mobile devices, and Peripherals.
  • Technically experienced with LAN infrastructure.
