What you'll do:


As a Senior Litigator at NatWest Mentor, you'll be maintaining your own tribunal caseload while making sure that our customers' needs are met.


Working to high standards, you'll see that all cases are managed and carried out accurately and in line with our litigation framework to minimise any risk to the business and our customers.


Your role will also involve:

  • Independently and autonomously managing a caseload of employment tribunal cases for Mentor's broad range of clients
  • Acting upon any feedback received from colleagues to improve our services and attending customer meetings and teleconferences
  • Representing Mentor's clients in employment tribunals throughout the UK
  • Helping to continuously improve the team's processes and their technical development
  • Establishing effective working relationships with key internal colleagues, while making sure that complaints are promptly resolved

The skills you'll need:

A legal qualification and experience in employment law and tribunal litigation are essential for this role.


Additionally, you'll need:

  • A background in a similar role or in a law firm
  • An ability to work autonomously and support the development of our litigators and employment law consultants
  • Experience of working in environments where decisions are made based on risk evaluation and professional judgement
  • A proven track record in relationship management
  • Flexibility to appear in employment tribunals at various UK centres
