We have a new opening for a
Health & Safety Assistant at our
Aintree depot.

The role will involve ensuring that on a day-to-day basis the depot is fully compliant, and all colleagues are health & safety trained for their role with records of this documented.

You will undertake daily routines to ensure the company is operating in line with all the relevant rules & legislation.

Being a Health & Safety Assistant, you will be able to:

  • Take a proactive approach to ensure that there is a healthy & safe environment provided for all colleagues & customers in the depot.
  • To ensure that all colleagues are aware of their responsibilities with regard to their own safety and that of others.
  • Complete health & safety audits within the depot with an acute attention to detail.
  • Provide compliance to due diligence checks, legal requirements, and Company policies.
  • Ensure colleagues are fully trained in all aspects of their job and that detailed records are maintained of the training provided.
  • Confidently speak about health & safety within the depot to all colleagues including senior management.
To be a success in this role you will:

  • Be of a strong character who can take responsibility for a vital function within the depot.
  • Not be frightened to challenge the status quo you will need to quickly identify problems, develop fixes and strategies for improvement and then have the courage of your convictions to implement the necessary changes
  • Have an understanding of health & safety processes and the confidence to explain and project the importance of maintaining a healthy & safe warehouse environment.
  • Have a proactive approach to your work to ensure colleagues are fully trained in all aspects of their role and additional training is given where necessary.


This is a full-time position, and as we are a 7-day operation, some weekend and late night working may be required.
