Accounts Assistant - Part Time (2/3 days or 12-15 hours per week)
You'll be joining a fast-paced, ever-evolving online retail company that has experienced year-on-year growth for the last 14 years.

Working within a small & friendly accounts team, your main duty will be to ensure the accounting system (Xero) is kept up to date & accurate.

We are looking for someone seeking part time work (hours are flexible) to cover 12-15 hours per week over 2-3 days, this may increase if required as the business grows.

Responsibilities

• Inputting sales invoices into Xero
• Matching payments from online payment terminal to invoices in Xero
• Inputting purchase invoices into Xero
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Ensure accurate coding of invoices
• Sending weekly credit customer statements
• Credit customer balance reconciliations
• Filing invoices (mainly digitally)
• Dealing with basic accounts queries from customers and suppliers
• Other general office/admin duties, ie stationery ordering

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role within a finance or accounts department (minimum 12 years)
• High attention to detail
• Experience using Microsoft Excel (lookups, basic formulas, conditional formatting etc)
• Experience using Xero would be beneficial but not essential as training can be provided
• Excellent numeric, verbal and written communication skills

Salary £20, ,000 per annum FTE (pro rata - dependent upon experience). Monday - Friday
