Accounts Assistant - Part Time (2/3 days or 12-15 hours per week)
You'll be joining a fast-paced, ever-evolving online retail company that has experienced year-on-year growth for the last 14 years.
Working within a small & friendly accounts team, your main duty will be to ensure the accounting system (Xero) is kept up to date & accurate.
We are looking for someone seeking part time work (hours are flexible) to cover 12-15 hours per week over 2-3 days, this may increase if required as the business grows.
Responsibilities
- Inputting sales invoices into Xero
- Matching payments from online payment terminal to invoices in Xero
- Inputting purchase invoices into Xero
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Ensure accurate coding of invoices
- Sending weekly credit customer statements
- Credit customer balance reconciliations
- Filing invoices (mainly digitally)
- Dealing with basic accounts queries from customers and suppliers
- Other general office/admin duties, ie stationery ordering
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role within a finance or accounts department (minimum 12 years)
- High attention to detail
- Experience using Microsoft Excel (lookups, basic formulas, conditional formatting etc)
- Experience using Xero would be beneficial but not essential as training can be provided
- Excellent numeric, verbal and written communication skills

£20,357.00-£21,724.00 per year
