  • The role

  • You'll be joining a very friendly and supportive team where you'll contribute to the successful delivery of weekly and monthly payrolls, whilst maintaining accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality at all times.
  • You'll effectively manage and complete all workload allocated as part of a committed team dedicated to providing a firstclass quality Payroll Service for
    MAG and all
    MAG employees. You'll effectively ensure the accurate, confidential and timely delivery of all tasks associated with the delivery and output of the payroll within Group Finance Shared Services, by ensuring that all aspects of pay and pay related matters are undertaken, meeting all required statutory standards, whilst working closely with, and supporting the rest of the payroll team and stakeholders.
  • What will make you successful in the role?
  • You'll need at least 2 years' experience in a payroll department or in a payroll related role, with an excellent understanding of payroll statutory obligations such as Maternity, Paternity, SSP, Tax, NI, Auto Enrolment.
  • You'll have the ability to understand and calculate company rules for salaries/hours etc. You'll be customer orientated with an efficient and professional approach with all internal and external contacts. You'll also have an excellent attention to detail and have a thorough understanding of the need for confidentiality at all times.
  • It would be desirable, but not essential, to have experience of SAP and Success Factors, CIPP Payroll Technician or equivalent and/or have CIPP Payroll Foundations degree in payroll management.
