Position:
SEND Teaching Assistant (Long Term Basis)

Location:
Bethnal Green, East London

Salary:
£80 - £110 per day

We are currently seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and inclusive team at a Primary School in Bethnal Green, East London.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives and contribute to their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support and assistance to children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in the classroom.
Assist the class teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and adapting learning activities to meet the needs of SEND students.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all children feel valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Collaborate with the SENCO and other staff members to ensure the holistic development of SEND students.
Monitor and record the progress of SEND students, providing feedback to the teaching team as necessary.

Requirements:

While previous experience working with SEND students is desirable, it is not essential. We welcome applicants who are enthusiastic about supporting children's learning and are willing to learn.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
Patient, empathetic, and adaptable attitude towards working with children with diverse needs.
A genuine passion for education and a commitment to making a difference in children's lives.
