About the role:
Working with Senior stakeholders, you will support and deliver short, medium and long term roadmaps for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of end to end service management across all Academic and operational IT Services that will generate a significant, positive impact through improved stability, capacity management, quality and cost effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Drive continual improvement into The Dyson Institute IT service.
- Ensure that our Teaching Spaces are IT ready and working effectively.
- Ensure ITIL aligned governance and standards are followed.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with the wider Dyson business and our external vendors. Ensuring regular communication of service requirements, service improvements, risks, service changes, service outages and service issues.
- Ensure that for any existing, new or amended IT services being introduced that a service design is created and approved and that the service is transitioned effectively and smoothly into Digital Services.
About you:
- A good level of experience in IT service delivery roles
- Previous experience (min 2 years) working in an IT Service Operations/Management role, preferably within Higher Education.
- Previous experience working with vendors and contract management.
- Driven to solve problems and with a continuous improvement mindset.
- A natural communicator, understanding how to share insights with a range of stakeholders and using your logical and creative thinking skills to develop compelling narratives that support Senior Leaders to make effective business decisions.
