The role


We have an exciting new opportunity for a Assistant Valuer to join us as we begin to grow our Estates team.

It is an exciting time, and you will be an integral part of a friendly and supportive team.


This role involves:

  • To assist within a team with the provision of complete professional advice on all aspects of estate management, with a specific focus on instigating and see through to completion, lease renewals and rent reviews across the TDA estate.
  • To maximise value and income across the TDA estate.
  • To ensure all assets are managed in accordance with commercial property laws, regulations and best practice issued by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
This is a permanent position.


You will have attained a RICS accredited degree with a view to working towards attaining membership of the RICS, for which extensive support will be provided.


Essential knowledge, skills and qualification include:

  • Knowledge and awareness of local, regional and national property markets across a range of property types.
  • Knowledge of valuation techniques.
  • Knowledge and understanding of all property law, which would be applicable across a mixed portfolio.
  • Good negotiation and communication skills.
  • Degree and / or Associate Membership of RICS or relevant qualification.
