Specialist Accountancy Practice recruitment consultants, Clark Wood, are working with a well-respected and leading firm of chartered accountants in Darlington who are looking to add an experienced Payroll Administrator or Senior Payroll Administrator to their team.

The successful person will work as part of the existing payroll team and will need to be able to process end-to-end client payrolls in an accurate, timely and efficient manner, and liaise with clients and colleagues to deliver a high level of customer service.

As a Payroll Administrator you will work with clients of varying sizes and process payrolls to various frequencies.

Based in the Darlington office, you'll have the opportunity to work within a friendly and supportive environment and will be rewarded with a highly competitive salary as well as great benefits including hybrid working, flexible start and finish times, and a nine-day fortnight (enabling employees to work their fortnightly contractual hours over 9 days to achieve one day off a fortnight).
