Regional Clinical Quality Lead

West Region

This advert is seeking to attract a Regional Clinical Quality Lead based in West Region with location negotiable within the West Region.

Reporting to the Regional Director, West, and professionally accountable to the Director of Care Quality and Professional Development, the Clinical Quality Lead is responsible for leading, developing and implementing an effective, robust and comprehensive clinical governance, learning from events, patient safety, quality strategy and associated work programme within the area of responsibility to mitigate against clinical risk, ensuring the delivery of a safe, effective and person centred service within the area of responsibility in response to strategic and national direction.

We are looking for a highly motivated, clinical professional who has experience of working within a governance and safety framework, who can demonstrate credible clinical knowledge as well as a diverse range of operational experience within a complex healthcare system.

This post will require leadership, confidence and drive to deliver improvements to outcomes for patients who need the support of the Scottish Ambulance Service.

You will have experience of professional leadership, improvement projects and creating the conditions for others to grow and develop their knowledge and skills to the benefit of patient care and staff confidence.

The post holder is a key member of the West Region Operations Senior Leadership Team and will also contribute to the Senior West Region on-call rota.
