_5 Axis Programmer_

  • Shannon, County Clare

  • Hypermill / SolidCAM Programming
Syntech Recruitment are searching for a strong 5 Axis Programmer for our sub-contract employer based out Shannon, County Clare.

Working within the machine shop, you will be tasked with programming and running 5 axis machines using Hypermill / SolidCAM packages.

Axis Programmer Tasks:
_

  • Program CNC Milling machines using Hypermill and/or SolidCAM
  • Run first offs before passing to Operator
  • Selfinspection of first off components
  • Editing machine programs on controls
  • Working with operators and setters to ensure machining runs as expected
  • 5

Axis Programmer Profile:
_

  • Proven experience of programming using either Hypermill or SolidCAM
  • Experience working to tight tolerance in the Medical and/or Aerospace industry
  • Manual mills/lathes experience would be beneficial
  • Online Fanuc/Siemens programming experience would be ideal but not essential
