Job description

The purpose of the role is to carry out assessment and replacement of vehicle tyres as well as to move cars within the Workshop site in an efficient, professional manner whilst adhering to Health and Safety guidelines.

Duties/Responsibilities

Performing tyre replacement using a variety of ramps
Ensuring environmental disposal of scrap tyres
Recording activities on job cards and on Company's internal scan system
Moving vehicles to and from designated Workshop bays and areas within prescribed speed limits
Maintaining good standards of housekeeping and workmanship in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines and Company Policies
Reporting any other faults found to Supervisors, undertaking ad hoc duties as requested by them

Health Safety Responsibilities

It is each employee's responsibility to ensure that the environment in which they work in is safe for them and others
This includes reporting all accidents and near misses to management
Reporting any potential issues which could cause harm
Behave in a manner, which acts in line with the standards set out in the Health and Safety Manual and Company Handbook

Essential Requirements

Proven experience in tyre fitting
A full and valid driving licence
Basic communication skills
Ability to work on own initiative and to a high standard of workmanship
Willing to perform any ad hoc duties in a workshop based environment
Able to work in the outdoor elements with a flexible approach to work
The drive to work at World's Largest Car Dealership to the best of your ability
