The role
A Senior Surveyor position within the Agency team is to deliver profitable fee income to the business. The role is required to work within the Newcastle agency team.
The role covers a wide range of activities such as advising clients on sales and purchases together with letting and acquisitions of both office and industrial properties.
Roles and responsibilities
Clients and Business Development
- Assist Directors with the valuation, appraisal and preparation of sales/letting details
- Actively market properties for sale/to let and report to clients with marketing updates
- Identify potential new disposal instructions from new and existing clients
- Service existing client requirements with suitable opportunities. Prepare schedules of available properties
- Develop own client base and in particular develop business with your existing private client contacts
- Keep up to date with market movements, deal analysis and incentives in the market
- Promote and raise the profile of the agency team externally and internally
- Liaise with other key departments to cross sell clients and related services
- Responsible for managing own instructions or subsections of major projects
- Works as a team on major leasing instructions
- Has broad knowledge of principles and practices of related disciplines
Person specification
Essential qualifications
- Educated to degree level
- MRICS
- UK driving licence
Essential experience
- Track record of delivery in the UK Real Estate market, with a transaction background
- Previous experience and evidence of enhancing performance through growth and profitability
