A global consultancy across 40 countries is seeking for a Principal ESG Advisory Consultant to join its environmental team and be a part of creating resilient, prospers and sustainable societies by building future-ready infrastructure.
With 130 years of experience, its holistic approach and seeing the future the bold way allowed the business to be a part of the biggest infrastructure project in Europe at the time.
Currently, the ESG team is working closely with educational institutions to delivery low-energy buildings and infrastructure that supports flexible learning whilst considering environmental impact to attract and retain students.
This role will include both locally based and nation scale projects providing a variety of experience building your career.
You will be a part of a rapidly growing team that will collaborate with multiple technical teams, including design teams, engineers and ecologists and external stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
- Proactively engaging/liaising with clients to deliver a range of exciting cutting edge ESG advisory services, within budget and deadlines.
- Managing proposals and business development for a wide variety of clients in both the private and public sector.
- Helping startup companies to baseline carbon emissions and implement net zero targets within their organisation in line with the GHG Protocol and sciencebased target methodologies.
- Supporting the professional development of junior colleagues, including mentoring opportunities.
- Supporting senior multinational stakeholder engagement workshops internally and externally to promote our services.
- A relevant degree (sustainability, environment, geography, business, etc.)
- Consultancy experience (Desirable)
- Strong experience in Net Zero and/or ESG strategies.
- Experience of working with corporate clients across a range of sectors.
- Experience of developing and contributing to bids and managing projects.
- Excellent experience of managing projects with other individuals or small teams.
