Demand Planner

Salary:
£35-40,000+ Bonus + Healthcare + pension


Contract type:
Permanent and full time, Monday to Friday


Location:
Onsite, Ashbourne

Our client is looking for a Demand Planner to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.

This role will be responsible for forecasting, data & Information gathering, collaborative planning and being active in suggesting improvements and assisting with projects.

About you:
This role would suit someone with some demand planning experience in sectors such as but not limited to food, beverages, FMCG

Main duties & responsibilities

Forecasting

• Prepares as accurate as possible the demand forecast for all products.
• Maintain demand planning master data, systems and software, maintains relevant data and monitors / analyses trends to further enhance the forecast.
• Keeps up to date with the latest forecasting theory and concepts in order to become as effective as possible.

Data and information gathering

• Collects timely the right input / data and information from sales (and marketing)
• Works with sales to develop a robust prospect/new business process in order to capture information at the right time about new products and how to include these in the forecast.
• Identifies variances based upon historical production performance.
• Identifies relevant marketrelated data and competitive intelligence that is relevant for the demand forecasting process
• Identify sales opportunities and risks.

Collaborative planning

• Prepares relevant material to facilitate discussion and facilitates / manages the monthly demand meeting, in which the input from sales & marketing is discussed beforehand
• Achieves consensus for operational demand forecasts.
• Collaborate with key customers planning teams to tend to collaborative and integrated plan.

Salary:
£35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
