Excellent opportunity for a SEN Behaviour Mentor in
Caerphilly
We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join a small support team within an alternative provision.

Within the learning pathway centre there are a maximum of 18 pupils, all of which have been moved from mainstream secondary school due to behaviour and additional learning needs.


The learning pathway centre:


Requirements:


  • Experience working with SEN
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Passionate about supporting nurture and trauma needs.
  • Available on a FT basis, term time only.

About the role:


  • Mon
  • Fri 8:30am2:30pm.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy intervention.
  • Providing emotional support to pupils.
  • Arranging activities for the pupils outside of their classes.

This is a very fulfilling role suited to a bubbly, caring and resilient educator. The provision is passionate about finding someone who can make a positive impact on the pupils and help sculpt their futures.

Start date:
September 2023.


Length of contract:
Transferring over to school contract by Christmas 2023.

Pay scale:
Minimum of £11.85 per hour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
