Are you a Health Care Assistant
(NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualified in Health & Social Care) seeking new opportunities for career development and growth? Then this is the job for you Willows Health has an exciting role for a Health Care Assistants to join our experienced and multi-disciplinary team if clinicians.
We are offering both part-time and full time roles (37.5 hours per week), with a starting wage of £10.50 per hour.

Our mission is to revolutionise healthcare across Leicester, whilst providing quality healthcare by our expertly qualified executive team and clinicians to ensure that not only do our patients receive the right treatment, but also in a timely manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting consultants, GP's and nurses with duties and clinic lists. Experience with assisting in minor surgery/sterile procedures is essential.
- Performing blood tests
- Ability to carry out ECG's
- Ability to carry out basic observations including BP, Temperature and heart rate monitoring
- Health Promotion Advice
- Urinalysis
- Simple Wound care
- Assisting in emergency situations with patients
- Acting as a Chaperone, when required
- Assisting Nursing team or GPs when required
- Assisting in the assessment and surveillance of patients' health and wellbeing
- Stock monitoring and ordering (including clinical supplies and leaflets)
- Maintaining confidentiality at all times and abiding by the clinics confidentiality policy
- Support and participate in clinical meetings within the practice
- Following infection Prevention and Control Guidelines according to CQC policy
- Checking emergency equipment and medicines and updating records

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualified
- sensitivity and sympathy, with the ability to respect each patient's dignity and sense of independence.
- patience and tact.
- communication skills to support the patient and give reassurance.
- practical skills and a willingness to do messy tasks.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Experience working in general practice
- Experience with using SystmOne
