Description

Our local client are one of the UK's largest manufacturers of screening media used within the quarry and recycling industries.

They currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to help assist in the setting up and & operation of an innovative new product line.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate production to ensure efficient and safe operations
Monitor production schedules, customer orders and delivery time frames and liaise with customers when required
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to identify any maintenance or repair needs
Collaborate with other departments, such as quality assurance and maintenance, to resolve any production issues or concerns
Maintain accurate production records and reports
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and reduce waste
Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and employee engagement

Experience:

Previous experience in production or manufacturing environment preferred
Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
Proficient in basic math calculations for inventory management and production planning
Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing a team
Effective communication skills to interact with employees at all levels of the organization

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
From £14.00 per hour
