Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Groundworker to join our team. As a Groundworker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to groundwork and construction projects.


Duties:


  • Perform various manual labor tasks on construction sites
  • Assist with digging trenches, laying pipes, and backfilling excavations
  • Operate hand tools and power tools as necessary
  • Assist with concrete work, including mixing and pouring
  • Support skilled tradesmen such as roofers, bricklayers, carpenters, and masons
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Skills:


  • Experience or knowledge in roofing, bricklaying, carpentry, masonry, or related fields
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to weld is a plus
  • Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
  • Knowledge of safety procedures on construction sites

Pay:
From £17.09 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
