Customer Service Agent


Our client provide specialist heating and cooling services to a broad commercial client base and are seeking a highly motivated person to join their busy customer service helpdesk, supporting both their clients and engineering teams.


Working in a fast-paced environment, the Customer Service Advisor provides comprehensive and proactive support to customers, suppliers, engineers and key internal stakeholders throughout the order and job delivery journey, for both the heating and cooling divisions.

The initial requirement is for a 6-month Fixed Term Contract, but with potential to move to a permanent one.


Main duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Establishing and maintaining proactive relationships with customers
  • Taking ownership of customer issues, proactively seeking best customer outcomes
  • Completing checks to ensure jobs are ready to start
  • Processing sales orders accurately with an acute attention to detail
  • Raising purchase orders to suppliers
  • Producing Risk Assessment and Method Statements
  • Sending reports to customers following job completion
  • Providing day to day support to fieldbased Engineers
  • Supporting the timely return of parts no longer needed
  • Ensuring all information in systems and databases are recorded accurately and up to date and notes are detailed and clear
  • Effective communication and prioritisation skills
  • Having meticulous attention to detail
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Confident using MS Office and databases
  • Ideally experience processing sales orders and purchase orders.

Job Types:
Permanent, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months


Salary:
£25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
